Not your fault the last one didn't fit.
Most bodycon dresses are cut from a flat template and stretched over everyone else. The fabric has no idea where your waist goes in or your hips go out. So it grabs tightest at your widest points, bags everywhere else, and ends up wearing you instead of the other way around.
The stretch is not the problem. The direction of it is. When thin fabric expands in every direction at once, it spreads across your curves instead of following them. Every wash makes it thinner and the problem more obvious.
Rivelle is cut differently. The stretch moves with the direction your body actually takes. Your waist goes in. Your hips go out. The dress follows.
Moves with you instead of against you.
Thick, directional stretch
The fabric is built to stretch vertically along your silhouette, not across it. Think of the difference between a pillowcase stretched sideways over a cushion versus one cut to fit it. One fights the shape. The other follows it.
Contours where you want it
The fabric is thick enough to contour rather than cling. You get the bodycon silhouette without it pressing hard against every detail underneath. Clingy but not restricting.
Side slit for a full stride
A maxi you can only shuffle in is a maxi you put back. The side slit gives you a full stride without changing the silhouette from the front. Walk. Dance. Move like you own it.
The one they actually kept.
"I have bought so many bodycon maxis and returned every single one. This is the first time I put one on and actually left the house in it. The fabric is thick, it moves with my body, and it goes all the way to my ankles at 5'4". Ordered three more colors the same day."
"I have wide hips and most maxis never fall right on me. This one went straight to my ankles and hugged my shape the whole way down. I'm not spending the night readjusting anymore. Worth every dollar and I need it in every color."
"I'm 5'2" and dresses never fit right. This one hit my ankles and actually worked with my shape. The side slit means I can walk in it without taking tiny steps. I wore it to dinner and got more compliments than I've had in months."
It knows where your curves actually are.
Most dresses stretch across your body. The Rivelle stretches with it. The fabric follows your waist in and your hips out instead of pulling tight across the widest point and bagging everywhere else.
If you have wider hips, everything tends to ride shorter on you. That is not a problem with your body. The Rivelle accounts for it. At 5'6" with curves, it still goes to the ankles. If you have narrower hips, it will be even longer on you.
150 lbs at 5'4" in a medium. Full-figured in a medium. The sizing holds. Order your normal size.
Whether you are feeling neutral, bold, soft, or bright.
Charcoal gray, taupe, black, white, army green, pink, sky blue, yellow, and orange. One silhouette. Nine moods.
Once you find the fit that works, it is difficult to stop at one. Most customers order a second color the same week. The price point makes it reasonable to have the dress in the color you reach for every day and the one you save for when you want to be seen coming.
I styled mine with simple sandals and let the dress do the talking.
The material is thick. It holds its shape. It actually stretches.
Most cheap stretch dresses feel thin because they are. Thin fabric has to stretch more to accommodate curves, which makes it sheer under light and prone to pilling after a few washes.
The Rivelle fabric is thick enough that it does not need to stretch as much. It gives where you need it to and stays where it should. Wear it alone, layer a bralette under the neckline, add a jean jacket over the top. Three outfits. One dress. $39.99.
Built for the body you actually have.
Moves with the contour of your body instead of expanding uniformly in every direction. Your widest points stop being the problem.
Goes to your ankles at 5'4" in a size medium. Designed for the length to land right, not to be hemmed or tolerated.
The single change that makes a bodycon maxi actually wearable. A full stride without a visible change to the silhouette from the front.
The fabric does not go sheer under light or pill after five washes. Order it with confidence at $39.99 and 90 days to try it.

Everything you want to know before buying.
I bought a bodycon maxi before and it did nothing for my body. Why would this be different?
Most stretch dresses fail for the same reason: they are cut flat and stretched over your shape. The fabric expands in all directions at once, which means it grabs tightest at the widest point and bags everywhere else. The dress does not follow your body. It resists it.
Rivelle is cut to move with the direction of your shape. The thick stretch follows your waist in and your hips out instead of fighting them. Combined with the side slit that lets you move freely, the result is a dress that works with your body rather than against it. We back it with a 90-day return window so you can find out for yourself without risk.
What size should I order?
Order your normal size. The stretch accommodates without requiring you to size up. At 5'4" and 150 lbs, a medium fits with room and goes to the ankles. Full-figured customers in a medium report the same true-to-size fit. If you are between sizes, go with your usual.
If you have wide hips: those make everything look shorter on you, so the dress will sit higher than it does on someone with narrower hips. Even so, customers at 5'6" with pronounced hips report it reaching the ankle. If you are on the shorter end or have narrower hips, it will be even longer on you.
Will it go to my ankles at my height?
At 5'4" it goes to the ankle. At 5'2" customers report it hitting just below the ankle. At 5'6" with wide hips, it still reaches the ankle. The shorter you are, or the less hip you carry, the longer it will appear on you.
If you are 5'8" or taller, it may hit above the ankle rather than at it. There is a side slit regardless, so movement is not restricted.
Will it be see-through?
No. The fabric is thick enough that it does not require a slip underneath in any of the 9 colors. White and lighter colors always carry more risk, but customers across the color range report no transparency issues with normal wear. The thickness is part of what makes the stretch work correctly.
Can I wear a bra with it?
The dress has thin spaghetti straps and a U-neckline. A regular bra with wide straps will show. A strapless bra, a low-back bralette, or a bandeau all work well. Some customers wear it braless. Others wear a bralette that shows intentionally as a layering piece. The neckline is low enough to look elegant but not so low that coverage is an issue.
Will it hold up after washing?
The thick construction means it does not thin out or pill the way single-layer stretch dresses do. Hand wash cold or machine wash on a gentle cycle. Do not tumble dry. The fabric holds its shape and density through repeated washing.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are processed in 1 to 2 business days. Delivery takes 5 to 10 business days after processing. You will receive a tracking number by email once your order ships.
What is the return policy?
90 days from the date of delivery. If the dress does not work for your body, contact us for a full refund. No restocking fee. No questions asked. We do ask that items are unworn and unwashed when returned.
Is it worth it compared to buying on Amazon for less?
Most cheap stretch dresses use thinner fabric that requires stretching further to accommodate curves, which makes them sheer and short-lived. The return experience with marketplace sellers is also typically far harder. The 90-day window here means you are not risking anything. Try it once. If it is not the one, get your money back. Most customers report keeping it and ordering a second color.
More from our customers.
"I felt like a different person wearing this. I need it in every color."
"Ordered Tuesday. Wore it Saturday. Zero adjustments all night. That's never happened before."
"I'm 5'2" and it actually went to my ankles. The slit is everything. I walked normally. I danced. I kept it."
"The thick material is not a marketing word here. It genuinely does not go sheer. I wore white in bright sun and had zero issues."
